About Us

Sigil Studios is a privately owned company in Sydney, Australia that provides software development and consulting services.

We are one of the few software development houses in Australia that specialises in modern Mac OS X application development. However, we’ve worked with many clients, many frameworks, and many environments: from embedded systems to Windows; administration of virtualised Linux clusters to building Linux distributions from scratch; from Gtk+ to WxWidgets; from Lua to Haskell; from writing compilers to user interface design.

Our experience and understanding of many platforms and computing philosophies give us a balanced, reasoned perspective on the computing landscape. We believe that 90% of problems can be solved by great design, that less code is better code, and that chasing both pragmatism and purity is not a contradiction.

Sigil Studios was founded in 2007 by André Pang.
